CuSn7ZnPb (RG7), Red metals/bearing brass:
The most-used alloy for slide bearings, sockets and constructions requiring a pressure-proof product. Durable, easy to machine, and corrosion-resistant – also in sea water.
CuSn12 (Gbz 12), Tin bronze:
Durable and highly resistant to corrosion. Typical uses include worm wheels, slide bars, nuts and cylinder inserts. Also used in cases involving high surface pressure combined with impact shock. Resistant to friction.
CuAl10Ni (NiAlBz), Nickel aluminum bronze:
Good impact toughness, durable and excellent corrosion resistance with respect to acids and salt water. Often used in the offshore industry, for example for slide bearings, wearing parts and controls for hydraulics, water turbines and high-pressure fittings. Heat resistant up to 400 degrees C.
